Greg's Message

Hello! My name is Greg. I have been teaching English for 25 years, and I have lived in many places. I grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts, which is the home of basketball. I also lived in Baltimore and in Hawaii. I taught English in both of those places. I want to go back to Hawaii! I also taught English in Thailand. It was a lot of fun to live there, and I miss it too.

I love to travel around Japan and learn about Japanese history and culture. I have visited many Japanese castles, and want to go to more of them. Visiting different places around Japan is a great way to learn about the country, and I hope to visit all 47 Prefectures. I also like baseball. The Boston Red Sox are my favorite team, but I also like to watch the Chunichi Dragons play.

I also love to eat. I like many different cuisines, and enjoy eating many different kinds of foods. My favorite food is pizza, but I also like to eat ramen.

What I really love is to hear other people's stories. Please tell me all about what you like, or don’t like! Tell me all about your hobbies and interests. I want to hear your story. When we meet, feel free to introduce yourself to me, and have a chat. I speak some Japanese language, too, so please be my teacher of Japanese. We can have a great conversation, I hope.

こんにちは！私の名前はグレッグです。25年間英語を教えていて、いろいろな場所に住んだ経験があります。バスケットボールの本拠地であるマサチューセッツ州スプリングフィールドで育ち、ボルチモアとハワイにも住んでいました。どちらの場所でも英語を教えていました。ハワイにまた戻りたいです！タイでも英語を教えたことがあります。タイでの生活はとても楽しかったので、その日々が恋しいです。

日本中を旅行して、日本の歴史や文化を学ぶのが大好きです。日本の城をたくさん訪れたことがありますが、もっと回りたいです。日本各地を訪れることは日本について学ぶ素晴らしい方法なので、47都道府県すべてを訪れたいと思っています。野球も好きです。ボストン・レッドソックスが私の好きなチームですが、中日ドラゴンズの試合を見るのも好きです。

食べることも大好きです。いろいろな料理が好きで、いろいろな種類の食べ物を食べるのが好きです。好きな食べ物はピザですが、ラーメンも好きです。

私が最も好きなのは、他の人の話を聞くことです。あなたの好きなこと、嫌いなこと、趣味や興味のあることなど、何でも教えてください。あなたの話を聞きたいです。お会いしたら、気軽に自己紹介をして、おしゃべりしてください。私も少し日本語を話せますので、ぜひ私の日本語の先生になってください。皆さんと楽しい会話ができるのを楽しみにしています。
