My name is Ethan, and I've been teaching English in multiple countries for the last 7 years. In this time, I've developed an engaging style of teaching through a blend of traditional and innovative activities to practice speech and language comprehension.

In my personal life, I love to travel and experience new things. Music, food, and sightseeing are passions of mine, and I love to experience culture. My travels have taken me to China, Vietnam, Macau, and here in Japan. Ask me about my favorite sights!

I also really love storytelling. Whether it's personal anecdotes, books, or video games, I'm fascinated by the emotional connection that good stories have. Part of my methods in teaching involves this storytelling to focus on different aspects of English listening and conversation.

As a half-Japanese and half-Filipino, I recently moved back to Japan two years ago, and it's been an incredible experience navigating the unique blend of cultures.

Throughout my career, I have worked in industries that demand exceptional eloquence in the English language. When I'm not working, you can often find me diving into a good book, exploring new films, or playing my favorite musical instruments. These hobbies not only provide me with joy but also fuel my creativity and passion in both my personal and professional life.

But more than these hobbies, what I truly cherish is the connection we share with one another. A smile, in my opinion, can change the atmosphere of any room. It's incredible how a simple upward curve of our lips can uplift someone's spirits and create a ripple effect of positivity. I love creating a safe space where everyone feels heard and valued.
